Even if statistics say our crime rate is down, it’s scary when you read about people getting shot in front of their homes in broad daylight.
“Carmencita Soliman, a 53-year-old businesswoman, was getting on the cab in front of their home in Villa Espana Subdivision, Barangay Tatalon at around 2:50pm on Thursday, May 22, when two men, one armed with a gun, shot her twice,” reports Iza Iglesias on Philstar.com.
Soliman’s sister, Catalina, and their friend Pedro Masindo Jr. were already inside the cab when it happened. They said the gunman and his companion were both wearing caps, jackets and masks.
The investigation is ongoing.
