“At around 9am on Monday, Mar 24, a woman was injured after she jumped off the stairs of the Metro Rail Transit (MRT)- GMA/Kamuning station in Quezon City Monday morning,” reports dzMM correspondent Dexter Ganibe on ABS-CBNNews.com.
The woman survived her deadly move, ending up on the outer southbound lane of EDSA.
According to the MRT security guard who witnessed what happened, the woman had been walking back and forth in the area before jumping off the stairs of MRT GMA/Kamuning station.
Rescuers from the Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA) later said the woman claimed to be 26 years old and a resident of San Francisco del Monte, Quezon City. She was brought to the East Avenue Medical Center.
