Woman found bound, dead along Zambales highway

An unidentified woman was found dead this morning along a highway in San Ildefonso town in Zambales, her hands and feet bound with rope and a garbage bag wrapped around her head.

The woman, who was discovered lying face down at about 6:30am, wore a pair of blue pants, a bra, and a Casio wristwatch, reported Rappler. 

Authorities described the woman as 35 to 40 years old, reported The Philippine Daily Inquirer. It was estimated that she stood between 5’2″ and 5’4″ tall, and was said to have tattoos on the nape of her neck and lower back.

Police at this point have not established the victim’s identity or a motive behind the killing. We’ll update this story as more information becomes available.
