This Monday is turning out to be brutal.
“At around 10am on Monday, Mar 10, a woman was killed after she was hit by a speeding train of the Philippine National Railway (PNR),” reports Dennis Carcamo on Philstar.com.
The still-unidentified woman, who appeared to have been in her 20s, suddenly crossed the railway near the Sta. Mesa, Manila station. Witnesses speculate that she probably didn’t realize that the PNR train, which was bound for Alabang, was about to pass.
Authorities are now on the scene to investigate the incident.
