A woman who allegedly pimped her own daughter on the internet was arrested in an entrapment operation by the Bacolod City police.
The suspect, 35, allegedly pimped her own daughter, 7, to a Dutch man.
The police rescued the victim inside the suspect’s house in Barangay 26, Bacolod City, Thursday morning.
Six more minors and an 18-year-old woman were also rescued, according to police Senior Superintendent Jack Wanky, acting director of the Bacolod City PNP.
Wanky said the victims were living next door to the suspect’s house.
The victims are now under the protective custody of the Department of Social Services and Development (DSWD).
The suspect will face charges for violating laws on protection of children against child abuse and exploitation, as well as for violation of the Cybercrime Prevention Act and the Anti-Trafficking in Persons Act.
