“In the early hours of Wednesday, April 2, Zenaida Delos Santos and her two grandchildren, nine-year-old Ronel Delos Santos and Ariana Alejado, who was supposed to turn a year old today, died in a fire in Coco Hills, Barangay Bagumbayan in Taguig City,” reports ABS-CBNnews.com.
According to the report, it took firefighters an hour to put out the fire.
Severino Sevilla of the Taguig Bureau of Fire Protection said the most probable origin of the fire was the house of the deceased itself. He noted that the family had used firewood for cooking.
