Woman and child found dead in Taguig

They may have been mother and child—but we don’t know that for sure yet because the police don’t even have their names.

“A woman who was about 30 to 34 years old and a little girl were found dead early Thursday, Feb 27, along C-5 Road in Taguig City, near the Treston International College at the Bonifacio Global City,” reports Mike Frialde on Philstar.com.

The bodies of the unidentified woman and child were found at around 6am. They were sprawled beside each other at the foot of a Meralco electric post.

According to Chief Superintendent Jose Erwin Villacorte, Southern Police District (SPD) director, “the victims showed head injuries that could have been caused by a blunt object.” He added that “rocks with traces of blood were found near the bodies.”

The investigation is ongoing.
