Well, they say he’ll be working hard. (We think.)
“Presidential Communications Operations Secretary Herminio Coloma Jr. said President Noynoy Aquino is keeping a close tab on the exodus of the public to and from the provinces this week,” reports Genalyn Kabiling in the Manila Bulletin.
Coloma added, “The President always monitors the developments in the country, regardless if it is Holy Week or no. The President is on the job. He will continue to keep watch over the welfare of our countrymen.”
(In case you missed it, they used the term, “on the job.”)
But then the report also said, “at present, there is no official word on whether or not the President will leave Manila to go on a vacation or retreat this Holy Week.” *
Maybe they need to explain some more what they really mean when they say he’s “on the job.”
