Two of Hollywood’s reigning comedy champs duke it out on the comedy film Get Hard.
In Get Hard, Will Ferrell has a comedic showdown with Kevin Hart.
In the movie, two of Hollywood’s hottest stars hilariously explore what happens when a person used to an easy life is forced to face the possibility of doing hard time in jail.
Ferrell started the interview with a joke that he used to be in the employ of a certain former Philippine First Lady as her male nanny or “Manny”.
“I was Imelda Marcos’ ‘manny’ for years and years,” said Ferrell.
Speaking about an entirely different kind of Manny, Hart and Ferrell are both looking forward to the Manny Pacquiao-Floyd Mayweather Jr. fight set on May 2 at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas.
When asked about who they think will win in the so-called fight of the century, Ferrell said he wants to see Pacquiao win but knows that Mayweather also has a lot of weapons in his arsenal.
“I would love to see Manny. I hope it’s a draw,” Ferrell said.
Hart said he wants to see a good fight. “I just don’t want it to be a bad fight. We’ve been waiting on this fight for so long, I don’t want to see anybody get knocked out.”
Ferrell added, “The problem is Mayweather is such a technician. Say what you will about his style, he just knows how to win a fight.”
Ferrell performed a duet with Pacquiao once on Jimmy Kimmel Live! and he’s looking forward to Pacquiao’s fight song, as well as to the performance of Mayweather’s usual pop artist by his side. Ferrell and Pacquiao had sung John Lennon’s “Imagine” on Kimmel’s show (see video clip below).
Fans of Hart and Ferrell will see the funnymen in Get Hard opening in the Philippines starting Apr 29. (Read more from Balitang America.)
