The 19-year old widow of Northern Metro Manila’s most wanted criminal also faces charges for possession of illegal drugs, police said on Wednesday.
Senior Police Officer 1 Fidel Cabinta of the Northern Police District’s Anti-Illegal Drugs section said a still undetermined amount of suspected methamphetamine hydrochloride or “shabu” was recovered from Magdalena Ignacio on Tuesday morning.
Her arrest stemmed from the earlier shootout between police authorities and her husband, Michael Ignacio alias “Bulag”, 22, in Dagat-Dagatan, Caloocan City. Ignacio was said to be the one of the most wanted men in Metro Manila with outstanding warrants for murder, robbery and illegal drug possession. The shoot-out ensued as police officers tried to serve a warrant of arrest on “Bulag”, Inquirer News reported.
