No, he’s not resorting to violence.
“Senator Teofisto ‘TG’ Guingona III is pushing for the establishment of a blood disease and transfusion center in the country which would offer comprehensive service to patients with blood diseases,” reports Ron B. Lopez in the Manila Bulletin.
In his explanatory note for Senate Bill 2047, which is known as Philippine Blood Disease and Transfusion Center Act, Guingona said that there’s a need “to establish a government corporate facility which could provide safe blood products to augment the medical services provided by other hospitals.”
The report also said that “under the bill, the government will allocate PHP850 million for the facility’s initial operation and maintenance, and will be under the direct supervision of the Department of Health.”
So, do you guys think this is a good idea?
