Despite the obvious, Brandon Rios claims that Manny Pacquiao never hurt him throughout their 12-round welterweight yesterday in Macau, reports Mark Giongo on Philippine Daily Inquirer.
That’s a load of crap.
“Alam ko nasaktan siya pero magaling siya magdala…yung kamay ko nga sumakit eh, yun pa kayang mukha niya,” Pac-Man remarked this morning during a live interview with Diane Castillejo on ANC’s Head Start. “Magaling lang siya, kahit nasaktan siya, pero di siya nagpapahalata.”
And this is where Pacquiao earned our respect.
Asked by Castillejo if he, in turn, was hurt during the fight, Pac-Man readily admitted yes.
“May round dun na nasakaktan ako sa left hook niya, talagang biglang ang daming stars.”
He then made a twinkly gesture with both of his hands, and laughed it off.
