“The Sandiganbayan 1st Division on Thursday, November 13, granted Senator Bong Revilla’s request for an overnight stay in St. Luke’s Medical Center in Taguig,” reports Marc Jayson Cayabyab on Inquirer.net.
In its resolution, the Sandiganbayan explained that it granted Revilla’s motion for “humanitarian” reasons.
The resolution read: “After going over the arguments of the parties, the Court is inclined to grant the motion for humanitarian considerations over the objection of the prosecution.”
Revilla’s St. Luke’s stay is scheduled from 6pm on Nov 17 to noon on Nov 18.
