They love the security guards, but the security agency…not so much.
That’s pretty much why the Dasmariñas Village Association Inc. (DVA) is firing Right Eight Security Agency, whose guards were recently involved in the Nov 30, 2013 row with Makati Mayor Junjun Binay.

Dasmariñas Village’s policy is to bar all vehicles from passing through their Banyan Road gate after 10pm. Vehicles have to go through other gates, including one just around 400 meters away from the Banyan Road gate. For some reason or another, Binay’s convoy didn’t seem keen on this rule.
“DVA president Jay Pantangco said in a letter sent on Tuesday, Jan 14, to homeowners that Right Eight Security Agency will be replaced by another security firm, First Eagle Security Agency, effective Jan 19,” reports ABS-CBNnews.com.
Pantangco emphasized though that “the Right Eight guards who refused to allow Binay’s convoy to pass a secured gate, will be absorbed by the new security company to allow them to continue serving the village.” The DVA had earlier given gifts and commendations to these said guards because they did their job right.
However, the DVA board explained that it had lost confidence in the security agency itself because they didn’t stand up for its guards. Instead, Right Eight had apologized to Binay. So, basically, they’re kicking out the security agency because they think it doesn’t have balls.
