Some people rally want to cause drama.
After it was reported that the Sandiganbyan First Division has found probable cause to proceed with the graft and plunder cases against Senator Bong Revilla, there was talk that the senator would be Surrendering to the Sandiganbayan today, Thursday, June 19.
An ANC report cited the clerk of court, who reportedly claimed that Revilla is on his way to surrender to the Sandiganbayan.
However, Revilla’s lawyer, Atty. Joel Bodegon told ANC that he was “not aware'”of this development. He even asked ANC news anchor Coco Alcuaz if the arrest warrant for Revilla was indeed out.
Bodegon, however, said Revilla’s camp will file a petition for bail tomorrow morning, Friday, June 20.
As of this posting, ANC reveals that Revilla is expected to hold a press conference in Cavite before he goes to the Sandiganbayan.
So, he’s going to make Sandiganbayan do overtime to wait for him? Office hours are almost over. But, of course, he may not know that. Or, perhaps, he just doesn’t care.
