Who needs Flappy Bird when you have the Pugo Game?

This is one of the rare instances where copying is a good thing. For starters, the people behind it gave the proper attribution.

Newlyweds Patrick and Camy Cabral, who are both art directors, say they were heavily inspired by the now-defunct mobile phone game app Flappy Bird when they developed their own app, Pugo Game.

In a report aired on ABS-CBN’s Bandila, Camy said, “We shamelessly admit that our game is really inspired by Flappy Bird.” Except, of course, in Pugo Game’s case, the featured bird is the quail.

The Pugo Game app will soon be available for iPhones and Android phones.
