In the continuing Senate probe on the so-called controversial assets of Vice President Jejomar Binay on Thur, Oct 30, Senator Alan Peter Cayetano presented “evidence” from Instagram.
Cayetano, as it turns out, presented screengrabs of photos from the Instagram page of @jmblicious, who was allegedly identified as the Vice President’s youngest daughter.
Cayetano pointed out that Joanna Marie Binay, with IG username @jmblicious, had photos showing the the 350-hectare estate in Rosario, Batangas. In one caption, she wrote: “Our place in Batangas.”
It may be recalled that the Binays have vehemently denied owning the hacienda.
It remains to be seen if the screenshots that Cayetano presented would be admitted as evidence.
All we know now is that the @jmblicious IG account has been deleted and she can’t be found in other social media platforms. (Or maybe we just haven’t looked hard enough…yet.)
For the record, aside from Joanna Marie, Binay has four other kids: Nancy, Mar-Len Abigail, Junjun, and Marita Angeline.
We found an old photo of the family showing Joanna Marie as a little kid. She is also in a photo posted on Philstar.com with Dr. Elenita Binay and her sisters.
We also found her YouTube page.
Alas, there’s no trace of the hacienda in any of these sources.
