“Atty. Levito Baligod—lawyer of pork barrel scam whistleblowers Merlina Suñas and Gertrudes Luy—cast doubt on the authenticy of the so-called affidavit of Janet Lim Napoles and list of pork scam officials that former Senator Panfilo Lacson submitted to the Senate Blue Ribbon Committee,” reports Camille Diola on Philstar.com.
According to the report, Baligod believes that “a politically motivated party asked Napoles to lend her name on the affidavit.”
The report noted that Baligod “filed the initial plunder charges against Senators Juan Ponce Enrile, Jinggoy Estrada, and Bong Revilla.”
Baligod, who also used to be the lawyer of benhur Luy, was quoted as saying,”Hanggang ngayon, nagsisinungaling pa rin si Ginang Napoles at hindi siya dapat paniwalaan (Until now, Mrs. Napoles is lying so nobody should believe her).”
