Which foreign nationals have the most number of PH visas?

Take a guess.

“On Friday, Mar 7, the Bureau of Immigration announced that there are more Chinese nationals with Philippine visas than any other foreign nationality,” reports Camille Diola on Philstar.com.

A total of 79,697 Chinese have reported to the BI from January 1 to March 1 this year.

The report noted that “the annual reporting is mandated under the Alien Registration Act of 1950 requiring foreigners with immigrant or non-immigrant visas to register with the bureau within the first 60 days of each year.”

Second to the Chinese are Indian nationals at 10,762. American registrants are the third largest group with 9,058, while Koreans are ranked fourth with 8,367.

Other nationals who flock to the country are the Taiwanese, Japanese, British, Germans, Australians, and Indonesians. The BI, however, didn’t provide the stats for these other nationals.
