We wish this was made up, but it’s not
“During his birthday lunch on Monday, Feb 17, Senator Jinggoy Estrada, who just turned 51, said he misses Ruby Tuason’s party-planning skills,” reports Andreo Calonzo on GMA News Online.
According to the report, Estrada told the reporters present that he had to “personally supervise his party preparations now that Tuason has provided testimony on his alleged involvement in the PHP10-billion pork barrel scam.”
“Nami-miss ko na nga siya [Tuason]. Dahil last year, siya yung nag-prepare. Ngayon, ako na lahat (I miss her because last year, she prepared everything. Now, I had to do it myself),” Estrada told reporters.
Senator Ramon “Bong” Revilla Jr. and Senate Minority Leader Juan Ponce Enrile, who are also being accused of pocketing kickbacks from the pork barrel anomaly, attended Estrada’s birthday fete.
The report noted that, at one point during the lunch, “Estrada even called Revilla as his ‘kakosa (prison cellmate).'”
Well, it’s good to know that he’s still got a sense of humor about it.
