Motorists, you know the drill.
“People are advised to avoid several areas in Quezon City due to the reblocking operations this weekend,” reports Anna Liza Villas-Alavaren in Manila Bulletin.
The road reblocking will happen from from 10pm on Friday, August 22 to 5am on Monday, August 25.
According to the Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA) the affected areas include the following:
1. Along C-5 Road, from J. Vargas to CJ Caparas St., outermost lane, southbound (SB)
2. Along Araneta Avenue from Del Monte Avenue to Maria Clara St., QC, 2nd lane, (SB)
3. Along E. Rodriguez Jr. Avenue / C-5 between Mercury and Eastwood Avenue, 3rd lane, (SB)
4. Along Fairview Avenue from Doña Carmen to Winston St., 3rd lane, northbound
5. Along Congressional Avenue from Mindanao Avenue to April St., QC, 1st lane, westbound.
