WATCH: Quiapo road rage suspect Vhon Tanto arrives in Manila

Quiapo road rage suspect in the killing of Mark Vincent Garalde, Army reservist Vhon Martin Tanto, arrived in Manila this morning after being arrested in Masbate on Friday, July 29.

Around 7:00 a.m. Saturday, Tanto arrived at the Manila Police District (MPD) with the Philippine National Police (PNP) Highway Patrol Group as his convoy.

At the MPD were district director Police Sr. Supt. Juan Napoleon Coronel, NCRPO Police Chief Supt. Oscar Albayalde, PNP chief Gen. Ronald ‘Bato’ Dela Rosa, and the Garalde family with chief public attorney Persida Rueda-Acosta of  the Public Attorney’s Office.

As Tanto emerged from the vehicle, he was instantly engulfed in a sea of police and media. Someone actually tried to punch Tanto — probably to teach him how to throw a proper punch — but wasn’t able to land the punch as the police were protecting Tanto.

Ah, yes. Human rights still at work.
