Just a few days after The New York Times published Richard Paddock’s piece about the beginnings of Philippine President Rodrigo Duterte entitled “Becoming Duterte: The Making of a Philippine Strongman,” the American publication released a trailer for a documentary about Duterte’s controversial drug war.

The trailer for “When a President Says, ‘I’ll Kill You’” was released on Thu, Mar 23, and has been viewed over 500,000 times.

The New York Times writes, “We sent a film crew to the Philippines, where death, grief and fear fill the streets.”

The full documentary will be released on Sun, Mar 26.
