Road accidents are so common in Manila, they feel part of everyday life. Sometimes, though, some accidents catch people’s attention — like this one that happened earlier today involving an SUV that plowed through eight vehicles in Makati City.
You have to see it to believe it, so here’s CCTV footage captured by Makati City police.

Behind the wheel of the SUV was 62-year-old Angelita Cajuday, who lost control of the vehicle while driving fast along Jacinto Street and hit four tricycles, three motorcycles, and one sedan.
Manila Bulletin reported that those injured were identified by Makati Police Chief Senior Supt. Roger Simon as Sunshine Toyoto Abig, Ronel Arceo, Dyane Barcelona, Ernesto Nonan, and Renold Sanches. They were rushed to the hospital, Ospital ng Makati
PO1 Leo Calderon of the Vehicular Traffic Investigation Unit (VTIU) told UNTV that they are investigating the incident.
