Spending hours stuck in a bank is probably the last thing you need on the first working day of the month.
If you don’t want to waste away your morning, or your entire day, avoid Bank of the Philippine Islands (BPI) branch on Julia Vargas Avenue in Ortigas Center, Pasig branch today, May 2.
The bank issued an advisory, warning its clients of possible congestion. This is after Davao City Mayor Rodrigo Duterte agreed to open his account in the said bank to prove that it does not contain PHP227 million as Senator Antonio Trillanes IV claimed.
“There are reports of a planned meeting between well known political parties at our BPI Julia Vargas branch tomorrow, Monday, May 2, 2016.
“In view of this, we expect a number of people including media and supporters of these personalities, among others to be at the said branch,” the bank has advised.
BPI has several other branches in the Ortigas area, but we bet they won’t be as exciting as the one along Julia Vargas Ave.
– BPI Pasig Ortigas branch located on the ground floor of Benpres Building along Exchange Road
– BPI Ortigas Emerald branch along F. Ortigas Jr. Road
– BPI Ortigas Sapphire branch along Sapphire Road
– BPI Ortigas Tektite branch at the PSE Centre along Exchange Road
