Can accidents like this one be prevented?
“Philippine National Police (PNP) Bulacan Provincial Director Ferdinand Divina confirmed that 11 people were killed after the wall of a warehouse building along McArthur Highway in Barangay Ilang-ilang, Guiguinto, Bulacan collapsed at around 3 p.m. on Monday, January 19,” reports ABS-CBNnews.com.
The building is said to be owned by a certain Dante Chua.
The report noted: “Among the victims was a pregnant woman, who was the last one recovered. Four others were rushed to the hospital for treatment.”
The report explained that “authorities have yet to determine the cause of the wall collapse.”
The reports have not revealed any other additional details about the incident.
