Waiter wins over PHP13 million in lotto

He wasn’t the lone winner, but it’s safe to say his story is tops.

“The Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO) revealed on Thursday, Feb 27, that a 33-year-old fastfood restaurant waiter won one-half or PHP13,919,766 of the PHP27,893,532 jackpot in the Lotto 6/42 draw last February 1,” reports Edd K. Usman in Tempo.

According to PCSO General Manager Jose Ferdinand M. Rojas II, the waiter, who hails from Legazpi City, Albay, bought the winning ticket for PHP20 or one bet and matched the winning numbers 4-8-11-12-20-21.

The other winner is a bachelor from Lucena City, Quezon.
