We’re starting this week on a hopeful note.
On Mon morning, Jul 11, Vice President Leni Robredo attended her first Cabinet meeting a couple of days after President Rodrigo Duterte called her on national television to appoint her as head of the Housing and Urban Development Coordinating Council (HUDCC).
“The Presidential Communications Office (PCO) released photos from the Cabinet meeting, which showed Robredo with other Cabinet members. Department of Transportation and Communications (DOTC) chief Arthur Tugade was even seen excitedly holding Robredo’s hand as he welcomed her,” reports Kristine Angeli Sabillo on Inquirer.net.
In one photo, Robredo was seen posing with Cabinet Secretary Leoncio Evasco Jr. and PCO chief Martin Andanar. The VP later sat down near executive secretary Salvador Medialdea.
