VP candidate Leni Robredo takes bus to Naga amid Holy Week rush

Camarines Sur 3rd District Rep. Leni Robredo hasn’t changed her bus-riding ways even if she’s now running for vice president under the Liberal Party (LP). Robredo patronizes public transport as much as she can.

Robredo was spotted among the Holy Week Exodus crowd at the Araneta Center Bus Terminal in Cubao, Quezon City. When the CNN Philippines crew asked why she was taking the bus, Robredo replied, “I think it’s the most practical thing. I don’t waste time because I sleep on the bus… It’s a 10-hour bus ride. And it’s economical. Bus fares now are PHP1,000, plane fare is PHP7,000.”
