He’s not going to go away anytime soon.

“The camp of Vice President Jejomar Binay has denied speculations he may be leaving the Cabinet soon,” reports Roices Naguit on InterAksyon.com.

According to the vice president’s spokesman Joey Salgado, “Binay will quit his post as housing czar and adviser on OFW concerns at the right time.” However, Salgado made it clear that “this won’t be happening in the near future.”

Binay serves as chairman of the Housing and Urban Development Coordinating Council. He is also  the Presidential Adviser on Overseas Filipino Workers’ (OFW) Concerns.

Salgado went on to say that “Binay is committed to continue attending to the shelter needs of people and to OFW issues even when he does quit the Cabinet.”
