Viral video: Traffic enforcer beat up after stopping motorcyclist without license

Palawan traffic enforcer Ryan Faldas filed a case against motorcycle driver Kenneth Castro for assault on Tuesday, after a video of the motorcyclist assaulting him went viral.

The video, taken in Narra, Palawan, was posted on Nov. 30 and shows Faldas getting assaulted from behind, and then chased into a big puddle by Castro’s two friends.

The traffic enforcer sustained cuts and injuries from the assaults.

According to ABS-CBN News, Faldas stopped Castro because he wasn’t wearing a helmet nor carrying a licesnse.

Police officer Ric Ramos said Castro didn’t stop when Faldas tried to stop him, and then went after the enforcer.

Faldas told ABS-CBN News in a phone interview that he was going to pursue charges against the suspect for disrespecting his position as a traffic enforcer.

The video was uploaded on several accounts, this upload has over 60,000 views as of posting time.
