Thousands of Pinoys are now hooked on author Siege Malvar’s “socialserye,” Charged Vol. 1. So far, it’s shaping up to be a short story told by way of text messages between a young woman named Candy and a still-nameless vigilante-type individual (or individuals).
Malvar — who has written a collection of short stories published as Wakasang Wasak — gives readers a great peek into his suspense-filled and tantalizingly twisted tales by uploading his “socialserye” as a series of screengrabs featuring the characters’ text messages to each other.
Malvar uploaded the first installement of the tale on Wed, Mar 2 on his Facebook page. As of 8pm on Thu, Mar 3, the still-unfinished socialserye has been shared 2,700 times.
We have a feeling this could get turned into a movie.
