Dayum! This little mall rat is super fit.
Over the weekend, a shopper was able to film a rat attempting to climb up a descending escalator at TriNoMa shopping mall in Quezon City.
Mall employees looked on as the little fellow quickly hopped from one step to another. A guard even attempted to chase it, but to no avail.
The rat was almost able to reach the next floor, but it got tired just when it was just a few steps away from its goal.

“It’s a wild Rattata!” a Pokemon fan commented on the video by Facebook user Bryan Mangahas. His post has now gone viral.
Another netizen said that a PokeBall would’ve made it easier for the guard to catch the rat.
A prudent netizen pointed out that the mall staff should have simply turned off the escalator temporarily until somebody caught the rat.
Opened in 2007, TriNoMa by Ayala Land is one of the largest and most popular malls in Metro Manila. It is connected directly to the MRT North Avenue Station.
Our only consolation? That the rat wasn’t found in a restaurant kitchen or dining area. But who knows? The lil’ fellow might have siblings running around.
