Viral: Pampanga HS student spoofs President Duterte

SAN FERNANDO, PAMPANGA — A grade 10 student, reportedly from Pampanga High School, has become quite the Internet sensation for his spot-on impersonation of the country’s new President.

The 16-year-old boy, identified as Joshua Arcilla by Manila Bulletin Online, is seen fielding questions from his fellow students who are posing as media men in a three-minute video posted on Facebook on Mon, Jul 5.

But it’s not just Duterte’s mannerisms and voice that Arcilla has copied to a T. He’s also got the former Davao mayor’s R-rated sense of humor.

Can’t see the video? Watch it on Facebook.

Asked about coal mining, Arcilla replies, “Patigil ko ang coal mining. Malamig na pagmimina. Bawal yun. Malamig. Coal nga di ba. Common sense, logical na nga p*******a.”

(“I will put a stop to coal mining. ‘Cold’ mining, that’s not allowed. Cool, right? Common sense, it’s just logical, son of a *****).”

Kinda unnerving, no?

When his classmates teases him to a girl sitting across the table, he retorts. “Anong pakialam ko? Apat ang asawa ko. Patulan ko pa ba ‘yung pangit na ‘yan?” (“What do I care? I have four views, why would I hit on that ugly one.”)

Of course, a Duterte interview will not be complete without a threat.

“Kung ako tatanungin niyo, I would like to say to the people of the Philippines pakulong ko talaga kayo. Buong Luzon gawin ko pulis i-station ‘yan. Mauna na itong babaeng ito.”

(“If you were to ask me, I would like to say to the people of the Philippines that I will all send you to prison. I will turn the entire Luzon into a police station. This ugly girl will go first.”

The video has enjoyed more than 1.5-million views as of this writing.
