Road rage is real and things can get out of hand very quickly on the congested streets of Metro Manila. This is why two drivers decided to settle things the peaceful way — by playing rock, scissors, paper.

A Facebook user who goes by the name “Procopyo Madlangtuta” in the social media platform shared a video today which shows him (or at least his hand) playing jak-en-poy with another driver to decide on who gets to cross his side of the road.

Jak-en-poy is how most Filipinos call rock, scissors, paper.

Madlangtuta won the game by beating the other driver’s scissors with a rock. Nonetheless, like a true gentleman, he still allowed his opponent to cross his side of the road because it was less congested.

He says in the caption in Filipino: “You should be chill while on the road!!!”

The video has over 125,000 views and 2,000 likes as of posting. Although Madlangtuta didn’t mention where he was exactly, netizens were amused by the video, sharing that they should do the same thing to avoid road rage.

Facebook user Beth Victorio wrote in Filipino: “I hope everyone could be like that so that there are only good vibes and there would be no fights..[G]ood job.”

Ram Dimaandal wrote that everyone should be chill, “not edge each other out [on the road]..[N]ice [job] brother”

Rian T. Nepomuceno tagged a friend and said: “I hope everyone is like this wahaha”
