A mother’s love is pure bliss, as proven in this viral tweet.

Twitter user @quinn_lasaleta captured this precious moment of a mom putting makeup on her son at the SM City San Lazaro department store in Manila over the weekend.

Lasaleta said in a mix of English and Filipino in the tweet: “The kid [in the photo] is gay and his mother is the one putting makeup on him, they look so cute.”

“I salute the mother with her love for her child, support your child where he will be happy,” he added.

He shared in the post that the child was shy, to which his mom reassured him by saying, “Why would you be ashamed, this is what you want, right?”

Lasaleta then ended his post by echoing the mother’s sentiments: “Just be proud. Peace, love, acceptance.”

He told Coconuts Manila through a direct message on Twitter that he was just smitten by the pair. “I fell in love with them, they were so cute at that moment,” he said in Filipino.

The tweet has garnered over 38,000 likes and 7,000 retweets. Netizens couldn’t help but spread the love:
