VIRAL: Mexican president photobombed by Torre de Manila

That’s a nice picture, Señor Nieto, except…

Mexican president Enrique Peña Nieto paid a visit to Rizal Park yesterday afternoon and took a photo at Jose Rizal’s monument. “Ceremony of deposit of wreath at the monument of the National Hero José Rizal,” he wrote on his Facebook acount.

Also in the picture: DMCI’s Torre de Manila.

And, of course, everyone had something to say about that.

“This photo affirms that the Torre de Manila ‘photo bomber’ must be crushed down. At whatever angle, it destroys the grandeur and historic sense of the monument,” wrote user Nonoy-Ron Aquino Gonzales.

Back in August, DMCI actually suggested ways to take photos of the Rizal Monument that don’t capture the tower within the frame.

Looks like the Mexican government didn’t get that memo?
