Twin brothers showcasing their beatboxing skills have gone viral on social media in just one day.

Joemar and Jake Canencia are Grade 7 students at the Tal-ut National High School in Carcar City, Cebu. Their teacher, Johnrey Rafols with Facebook name BaDz, posted the video last week.

The boys were shy at first but after being encouraged by Rafols, they eventually let loose and let their freestyle beatboxing skills unfold.

They kicked it off with a beat that is popular in Cebu during the Sinulog Festival, an event held every third Sunday of January to honor the Santo Niño (Baby Jesus). The two then mimicked a familiar Electronic Dance Music (EDM) sound usually heard in parties.

Hong Kong-based website 9GAG even shared the video of the twins on its Facebook page on Thursday, earning admiration from international viewers.

The video has gone viral with over 5 million views, with its first million achieved within a day, according to Rafols.

Yda Canencia, the mother of the twins, told ABS-CBN News that the two have been fond of beatboxing ever since they were little. She added that after finishing school, the twins dream of working and becoming drummers.

Here’s what the public had to say:

Facebook user Ryan Padillo Cañas wrote: “Amazing & raw talent. This duo deserves a break.”

Facebook user Carla Jalbuna tagged a friend, commenting: “You see that! Real talent, dude!”

Laurice Codera added: “These kids are amazing.”

Mitch Booc said: “OMG, I dropped my jaw, literally!”

Us too, Mitch. Us too.
