In a viral video uploaded by Mil Rapinan Tranquilino on Facebook, Inday Sara Duterte playfully requested his rockstar brother to sing Hoobastank’s The Reason, saying “I love this song. Sige na, please.”
A very pakipot Baste didn’t immediately say yes. (We just love it when he’s playing hard to get!)
With a bit of prodding, he eventually gave in, but with a different song choice.
He sang the anthem of brokenhearted girls in the late nineties, Freestyle’s Before I Let You Go.
It was nice to see Inday Sara cheering like a groupie for her little brother. Looks like they had a good time bonding.
We already know that politics isn’t your thing, Baste. In case your cooking show won’t push through, you can just keep on singing like the rockstar that you already are.
