To say that this is deserves an “it’s complicated” relationship status would be a major understatement.
Actress Vina Morales has filed a complaint at Prosecutor’s Office of San Juan City against her former boyfriend, businessman Cedric Lee, for violating a court-approved visitation agreement and “forcibly detaining” their seven-year-old daughter Ceana.
Vina told PEP, “Cedric detained my daughter Ceana forcibly without my permission for nine days while I was away, and violated the court-approved visitation rights every Saturday.”
She added, “I have been quiet about it but since people are asking me now, I have to tell the truth. Ceana was handed to my family at the court last May 23. She is only seven years old and was confused with what happened and a bit traumatized.”
Up until this incident, Vina has refused to speak up on the issue of her relationship with Cedric. “Kung noon hindi ako lumalaban at tahimik ako ay dahil iniisip ko ang anak ko. Ngayon, handa na akong lumaban para sa anak ko. May hangganan din ang pambu-bully niya (Lee) sa akin at sa pamilya ko (In the past, I didn’t say anything because I was thinking about my daughter. Now, I’m ready to fight for her. His bullying of my family must end),” she explained.
Vina and Cedric were never married. They broke up when Vina was pregnant.
The actress, however, have kept in touch with Cedric for the sake of their daughter.
In 2014, Cedric was arrested for illegally detaining comedian Vhong Navarro.
For his part, Cedric has denied Vina’s allegations.
