We like Cebu Pacific because they’ve democratized air travel by making airline seats cheaper and because of their punny print ads.
This week, though, a video meant to publicize their flights to Phuket in Thailand began spreading on the Internet. Cebu Pacific has had success with viral ads before, like in their dancing flight attendants safety video that helped drum up interest in their initial public offering in 2010, and also made every Juan disappointed when flight attendants on actual CebuPac flights didn’t do the dance.
This recent video, though, seems about as thought out as something that Cebu Pacific staff and crew came up with while waiting for a plane to go through the maintenance and repairs that all budget air travelers have learned to love.

It doesn’t help that Phuket sounds vaguely lewd in both English and Filipino.
