This just in: A bomb explosion in Fort Bonifacio’s Army Support Command. We are still trying to get details, but it seems the summer heat is to blame.
An ANC report said the fire is still ongoing and the building has been evacuated. “Special units of the Philippine Army are sweeping the areas that have unexploded ammunition before firefighters arrive,” according to ABS-CBNnews.com. As of 11:05am, the fire has declared under control though explosions continued to ensue. Ten people were reportedly wounded.
Firemen continue to monitor the area.
