“Newspaper columnist Tony Calvento confirmed that there was a chance encounter between actor-host Vhong Navarro and businessman Cedric Lee last Thursday night, November 20, during a private party held for the opening of Valkyrie Nightclub at the Bonifacio Global City in Taguig,” reports Jojo Gabinete on PEP.ph.
According to the Calvento, Navarro was with his fellow It’s Showtime co-hosts, including Billy Crawford and comedian Vice Ganda, when Lee appeared.
The report indicated that Vice Ganda is an investor of Valkyrie Nightclub.
The report noted: “Navarro supposedly agreed to attend the inauguration because he was assured that Lee, whose friend is one of the owners of the club, was not on the guest list for the night. The television host immediately left the place after seeing Lee to avoid any untoward incident.”
Calvento said that Lee and Navarro did not exchange any words. Vice Ganda told Calvento that he no longer saw Lee inside the club shortly after Navarro left.
Vice Ganda reiterated that it was a private party and that Lee was not on the guest list.
It may be recalled that Lee and his co-accused Simeon Raz, Jr., were released back in September after they each paid PHP500,000 as bail for their serious illegal detention case filed by Navarro.
