A driver crashed his vehicle into the main entrance of a Jollibee store in Boni Serrano Avenue, corner Halcon Street, Mandaluyong City, yesterday evening.
The vehicle hit the doors of the building and caused the injury to the on-duty security guard Bernard Caingles, reports ABS-CBN News.
Upon investigation by the authorities, it was discovered the driver Shirley Legaspi mistakenly stepped on the gas pedal instead of the brakes as she was trying to park.
Caingles received first aid after the accident but he is still unable to walk properly. Legaspi agreed to shoulder his medical expenses.
