A 12-member trade mission from the State of Utah is in Manila to look for trade opportunities with local businessmen and to promote the state for investment and tourism.
According to the U.S. Embassy, the mission will look for Philippine partners in plant nutrition, nutritional supplements, educator effectiveness training, student-learner skills development, medical infusion pumps, and wine.
Two more American trade missions are scheduled for this year. A mission in September will promote energy, energy efficiency, and the environment. A mission in October will promote U.S. universities.
