Good job, UST and UP!
The two universities have not only been included in a ranking of top universities in Asia by London-based education and career network Quacquarelli Symonds—they also moved up.
“State-run University of the Philippines in Diliman, Quezon City, remains the country’s top school, ranking 63rd in Asia. UP moved up four places from 67th in 2013,” reports ABS-CBNnews.com.
UST moved seven notches higher to 141st place, while Ateneo dropped six slots to 115th place.
De La Salle University remains it the 151-160 bracket, while the Ateneo de Davao University was included in the 251-300 bracket.
“The Top 300 universities were ranked by QS based on academic and employer reputation, faculty and student population, and international students and faculty, among others,” according to the report.
