The United States Embassy in Manila announced the rescheduling of visa appointments for Monday after it had closed temporarily during the Million people march at Rizal Park.
The Embassy issued a statement on its website that it was closed on Monday due to safety and security reasons related the large demonstration.
Non-immigrant visa applicants scheduled for Aug 26 need not resechedule for a new appointment. Instead, they can just return any workday between 6:30 a.m. and 9:30 a.m. until Sept. 6, 2013. Applicants, however, must bring their original appointment letter as well as other required documents for the interview. Those with immigrant visa applications, on the other hand, may visit The US Embassy website for further announcements.
