“The United States (US) Embassy in Manila will be closed on Monday, May 26, in observance of the Memorial Day,” reports Mary Rose A. Hogaza in Manila Bulletin.
The report explained: “Memorial Day is a U.S. federal holiday observed on the last Monday of May which honors the men and women who lost their lives while serving in the US Armed Forces.”
The embassy will resume regular services on Tuesday, May 27, 2014.
