UP’s Bonifacio Global City campus to hold classes this August

University of the Philippines will be offering postgraduate classes at its new building in Bonifacio Global City starting in August.

At least six UP Diliman units are confirmed to be participating, according to Inquirer.net: College of Law, College of of Engineering, School of Statistics, School of Urban and Regional Planning, School of Labor and Industrial Relations and College of Architecture.

The PHP400-million building, now the 17th campus in the UP System, was built on a land donated by the state-owned Bases Conversion Development Authority.

It was donated by the SM conglomerate, led by founder Henry Sy Sr.

Located next to the International School of Manila, along 32nd Street, the grounds span a total area of 12,000 square meters.

The nine-storey building has 29 classrooms, three laboratories, an auditorium, a moot court or a venue for simulated court proceedings for law students, study areas, faculty lounges, a multi-purpose hall, discussion rooms, office spaces, an executive lounge and multi-level parking provisions.

The Cesar E. Virata School of Business will only be offering MBA and DBA classes starting 2017.
