Are you an aspiring Iskolar ng Bayan? Good news. You can now apply for the University of the Philippines College Admission Test (UPCAT) online.

For the first time in UP’s history, aspiring students can file their UPCAT application through the Internet. Students, parents, and academic institutions no longer need to download application forms, manually accomplish them, and send them back to UP through mail.

In an online statement released by UP, this step is part of the university’s effort to make premier education more accessible to students across the country. It will also reduce the cost and encoding errors that occur in manual application.

The UPCAT website also provides information about scholarship opportunities, admission options, eligibility and documentary requirements, among others.

The website will also release an official UPCAT reviewer on the first week of August. The online application is ongoing until July 30.
